FORSTER DAVID W. On January 20, 2026, age 80, of Philadelphia. There wasn't anything more important to him than family. Loving husband of 55 years to Linda R. (nee Fuchs), devoted father to Tanya Matsinger (John) and David Forster (Colette), very proud and loving poppop to Jaclyn Slattery (Michael), Victoria Matsinger (Douglas Wagner), Aria and Mila Forster, adoring great-poppop to Connor Slattery. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Dorothy and his brothers Albert and Ronald Forster. He enjoyed working for the Philadelphia Inquirer as a truck driver for 27 years. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, they were the center of his world. His legacy will live on through countless memories and wisdom shared. He will be remembered as a man whose kindness, generosity and joyful spirit reflected God's love in all that he did. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 23rd at 10 A.M., at the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19115.
