David was a proud veteran of the United States Army, embodying the spirit of dedication and commitment not only to his country but also to his friends and loved ones. His service to this nation was matched only by his devotion to those around him, he often took time out of his day to spread happiness and support in his community.

A cherished presence in Alpena, David was a familiar face at The Friendship Room at St. Bernards, where he built lasting relationships and touched the lives of many. His genuine warmth and caring nature resonated with everyone he encountered, creating a welcoming space filled with laughter, compassion, and friendship.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate his life during a memorial service at St. Bernard Catholic Church, located at 322 West Chisholm Street, Alpena, MI 49707, on February 5, 2026. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with Deacon Michael Roy as celebrant.
