Mr. David Robert Fowler

Mr. David Robert Fowler, age 83, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 12, 2025, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. He was born on April 10, 1942, in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Robert Leroy Fowler and Jo-Anne Medford Fowler. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Fowler, brother, Donnie Fowler, and cousin, Pamela Wisdom.

David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge in 1961 after his dedicated service as an Air Policeman and Police Dog Trainer. Following his military career, David spent many years on the road as a professional truck driver, where he was well-respected for his strong work ethic, skill, and dependability. He retired after a long and decorated career in trucking.

Mr. Fowler is survived by one son, Jason Fowler and wife Jennifer of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Nicole Taylor and fiancé, Leo Rodarte of Oceanside, CA; three grandchildren, James Fowler Jr., Jason Fowler, and Ryan Cantwell; two great-grandchildren, Julian and Cateleya.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
