David M. Franklin, 58, of Payne, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his home.
Dave was born in Paulding on August 1, 1967, a son of the late Marsha (Burkley) & James Franklin.
Dave was a skilled worker, spending much of his life tackling many different trades, including concrete and demolition work. On August 2, 1986, Dave married the love of his life Angie (Forrer) and spend many great years together. He was a lover of the outdoors, often found working in his garden and chopping wood. Dave was also an avid NASCAR fan. Above all, Dave loved his family, and was the happiest spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Angie; children, Mitch (Brandy) Franklin, Coty (Jenni Lamond), & Amber (Brandon Blankenship) Franklin; brother, Jeff (Lizzie) Franklin; grandchildren, Chloe, Chandler, Caydan, Delilah, Kayle, Chase, Kendel, Alyssa, Ady, Brayton, Brenton, Kenzie, Connor, Nick, Tyler, Landon, Grady, Kailynn.; & great grandchildren, Braxton, Ava, Weston, Alina.
Dave was also preceded in death by his brother, Chris Franklin.
He will be laid to rest privately.
