It is with immense sadness that we share that David Galusha passed away on January 26, 2022 at the spry young age of 90.
He lived his life with passion, kindness, and love. He had such an impact on everyone he met. He could walk up to anyone on the street and talk their ear off. He was a friend, dad, and grandpa to so many. David had drive and strength but had the kindest heart. He was always busy working with his hands but always made time for the ones that matter most, his family.
He lived all over the world, working as the Chief Aircraft Engineer for Mobil Oil, and told his stories to the delight of so many. From Libya to Canada, he met so many people, and lived so many exciting adventures, bringing his beautiful wife, Christine, his children, Grace and Ken, and his grandkids, Alex, Megan, and Holden, along for the experiences of a lifetime.
He is now with his true love Christine, on their new journey together youthful, beautiful, and without the limitations of their earthly bodies. They met in Venice, got engaged the next day, married three weeks later, and stayed married until her passing in 2018.
We are blessed to have this amazing badass as part of our lives and the memories will constantly flood us and bring smiles to our faces
David is survived by his daughter Grace; son, Ken; grandsons, Alex, and Holden; granddaughter, Megan; brother, Dan; and sister, Mary.
David is preceded by his wife, Christine; parents, Donald, and Grace; brother, Donald; and four sisters, Barbara, Dorothy, Donna and Ruthie.
We celebrate David's life on Friday, January 28th, at 10am at Slay Memorial Funeral Chapel of Aubrey with Carl Cordova officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bradley R. Shotts and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
