Pagenkopf Funeral HomeJudith Arlene Galusha, 85 years old, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, passed away on January 26, 2026, surrounded in peace and love.
Judy was born on June 18, 1940, in Waukegan, Illinois to Kenneth and Veronica Iles. She grew up in Waukegan and attended the local grade school and high school.
Judy dedicated her life’s work to serving expecting mothers and families, working as an Office Coordinator for OBGYN’s in Milwaukee, Waukegan and Libertyville for over 15 years. She also supported the family business Carriage Autobody for a few years as she transitions into retirement. In her later years of retirement Judy remained dedicated to serving those in need volunteering in Hospice for many years. She was known for deep devotion and care.
Judy will be remembered for her passion for family, love for the little ones and making the holidays special. She loved fashion, taking in movies, was an avid racing fan and took great pride and joy in creating beautiful spaces filled with lush green plants and vibrant flowers. To know Judy was to know her silly sense of humor and fun loving spirit.
Judy is survived by her daughter Nicol Britten (Dan), Stepchildren Alan Galusha (Anita), Bonnie Reinbach (Cartsen), Vicky Adams (Paul), Grandchildren, Alexis Britten-Mooney, Hunter Britten, Jaxson Britten, Justin Galusha (Emily), Kelli Galusha, Amber Galusha, Mara Galusha, Makinzie Vazquez (Phil), Cassidie DeMarr; great grand-children Oaklynn, Brandon, Ronan, Clara, Aleia, nieces, Debrorah and Gail, nephew Ken (Jin), beloved grandnieces and grandnephews and dear friends Diane and Marlene. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Veronica Iles, Brother Roger, niece Mona, Husband Keith Galusha and son Jeffery.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday March 21st, 2026, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 North Maple Lane Oconomowoc, WI 53066. The visitation will be held from 10 – 11:30am followed by a short service and gathering with food and refreshments.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers at Lake Country Nursing Home who provided care and friendship over the years and those at North Shore at Home for their compassionate hospice care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to North Shore at Home or St. Judes Hospital.
