David Alan Garmon, born on November 12, 1958, in Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on December 21, 2025. He will be remembered for his multifaceted career, which included managing a jewelry store for many years, but most significantly, for his passion for flowers. An avid gardener, David found immense joy in nurturing plants and was particularly proud of his time as a manager of a nursery, where he shared his love for nature with others. David's faith was essential in his life. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized on August 8, 2005.
David is survived by his loving daughters, Jamie Wing, Jenny Keenhold, and Jodi Sahd, who carry his spirit forward, along with his grandchildren, Tayler, Masen, Lillian, Aiden, Izaiah, Ryder, and Tyson. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Gasaway.
David was supported in his journey by his friend and caregiver, Kevin Hardin, who provided companionship and kindness during his latter years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Garmon and Patricia Wiencek Garmon; along with his brother, Carl Garmon.
David's presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life.
