My dear old friend, I have been off Facebook for weeks and just heard the news. You had a fantastic hilarious sense of humor and a kind heart and good spiritual soul, you left us too soon old friend, you will be missed, We were friends since age 14, although I moved from Kentucky to Florida age 20 and we hadn't seen each other in 50 years, we had some laughs on Facebook and had a long conversation on messenger a few years back, catching up on 50 years. Miss you old friend, my heart is deeply saddened today finding out the news.

The obituary perfectly describes Dave-a love for life. The class of 72 got to reconnect with him 3 years ago at our reunion. He will be missed. Sending prayers for his eternal rest and for his family´s comfort.
