David Michael Gilliam

Bowling Green Native, David Michael "Mike" Gilliam, passed away December 5th, 2025 at his residence. He was born to the late William Arlis Gilliam and Elizabeth Campbell Douglas on March 2nd, 1951.
Mike was a man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved any excuse to be outside working with his hands. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was considered by many the best contract painter in all of Bowling Green.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Nola. His sisters, Brenda Baumgarter and Donna Gilliam.
He is survived by his many loving children; Tanya Counts, Robby Gilliam (Jennifer), Niki Stucker (JJ), Robin Bryant (Joseph), Jeremy Joiner, and Tina Coleman. His many grandchildren, Rebecca Counts, Rachel Counts, Ethan Gilliam, Jordan Gilliam, Sophia Wheat, Harlee Wheat, Riley Wheat, Caleb O'dell, Willow Daughtery, Payton Joiner, Kristina Joiner, Walker Bryant, Wade Bryant, and Gavin Coleman. He is also survived by nieces, Deanna, Tricia, and Jamie.
Services have been entrusted to J. C, Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Cremation was chosen.
