Aw Dave..... my heart sank when I saw you left us all. Im so sorry Deb. I go back to meeting Dave In saratoga, and you reading your books by the pool at the design motel. Dave invited me for many years to share a room with him in Hallendale Fla, some of the best memories of my life with Dave at gulfstream and the dog track. I´ve been sick myself for 5-6 years, and was hoping to see Dave in Florida one last time, but god had different plans. I loved the heck out of Dave and loved to tease him about the horses. I liked our dinners at "big daddy´s". He´s with "happy" now, telling Dave to "belly up to the bar". I miss ole happy and now Dave. I may never visit Florida again knowing I won´t see Dave anymore. Im done here, and going back to being sick to my stomach with a heavy heart for my dear friend Dave. You have no idea how much thru the years I´ve always thought about Dave, see you later Dave, in the big rack track in the sky. Saratoga Fred

I was David,s first cousin and spent a week or two with the family every summer when I was young. We had many great times together with Jimmy, auntie Agnes and uncle Lewis. He was a groomsman at my wedding and I attended his wedding to Deb. I learned of his passing when Jim called me from Arizona. He will be missed.
