Adrian – David A. Girbach age 72, of Adrian died early Saturday morning, January 13, 2024, at Lynwood Manor, following a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born June 18, 1951, in Ann Arbor to Clarence and Martha (Finkbeiner) Girbach. He was a graduate of Saline High School. On September 17, 1983, he married Darlene K. Rider in Adrian, and she survives.
David was employed by Ford Motor Company for 37 years, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed sports, especially golf and bowling. David was an avid Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan fan. He also liked taking casino trips. There was nothing David enjoyed more than spending time with his family and sharing his love with his grandkids.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by a son, Eric Girbach of Toledo; two daughters, Monica MacKenzie of Bay City, MI and Amanda Girbach of Saginaw, MI; two grandchildren, Austin and Carmyn; two brothers, Mark Girbach of Adrian, and Donald Girbach of Britton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, Monica.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, January 18, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Pastor Case VanKempen will officiate. Private burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian.
You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Lenawee Humane Society. Envelopes are available at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.

Dear Darlene,,,I would like to apologize for not being to visit you for Dave's visitation....Brenda and I were putting on two funeral dinners at our church...I am truly sorry bout Dave. As you know, I worked with Dave for a very long time...We will bump into at meijers at some point...
