Sara Nicole Girbach

Sara Nicole Girbach, age 33, of Saline, Michigan passed away Friday, March 8th, 2024 unexpectedly in her home. Sara was born November 15th, 1990 to Pamela Tighe and Gary Girbach. She is survived by her daughter Vivian Haushalter (Matthew Haushalter), sisters Melissa Girbach and Krissy (Bee) Gracie, brother Nathan (Sarah Yuhasz) Girbach, niece Rose Parra, nephews Keen Parra, Max Girbach, and Brock Girbach. She was preceded in death by her brother Terry Gracie.
Sara was the type of friend we all should aspire to be. If she said she was going to be there, you could count on her to be there. She never shied away from hard work and was loyal to those that she cared for deeply. She was always there with an open ear when a friend needed to vent, but she also enjoyed knowing the neighborhood gossip.
Sara had a deep passion for horses, dogs, and other animals. A love she took to Michigan State University and studied Animal Science, which grew into a career in research helping to advance medical treatments. Where she was deeply admired by her coworkers and team. Her dogs and horses were her pride and joy until her first true love was born, Vivian. Sara's greatest joy in life was being a mom and she looked forward to giving Vivian the opportunities she had growing up. It's unfair to know Vivian will not remember the incredible person Sara was. The family asks that all her friends help to keep her memory and dreams alive. Her life tragically ended way too soon, but she was able to make both Pam and Gary incredibly proud and she will be wholeheartedly missed by so many people.
Friends may join the family for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, care of Gary Girbach, 3901 Willow Road, Saline, MI 48176. Proceeds will be used for the continuing education of Sara's daughter Vivian. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
