David Allan Glass, 57, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Born July 21, 1968, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Samuel Dillard Glass and Simone Busby Elliott. David was the youngest of three siblings from this union - Denise, Deanna, and Daniell. He was raised in both Shreveport and Jacksonville, Arkansas, where he graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1986.

After serving a two-year mission in Provo, Utah for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, David moved back to Utah to attend school at Utah Valley Community College, where he studied Graphic Design. While living in the same college apartment complex, he met and married Stefanee Durfee in December of 1991. They were sealed in the Manti Utah Temple and were married for 33 years. Together they raised seven children - Ashton, Joel, Christian, Avery, Sydney, Peyton, and Dallan. David was a devoted father who never missed his children's games, dance recitals, concerts, and performances.

David worked in the printing industry for over 30 years, beginning with his father's company - Sistematik Graphics in Shreveport, LA, and more recently, Seagull Printing in Midvale, UT, where he worked as an account executive for over 20 years. In 2022, David switched careers, acquired his CDL license, and became a professional truck driver for CR England. He loved driving across country and often shared photos of the beautiful scenery he was able to witness on his numerous journeys. He adored his six grandchildren and often brought them treasures from his travels.

He is survived by his children: Ashton Cowan (Zackary), Joel, Christian, Avery Humphreys (Jacob), Sydney Stohlton (John), Peyton, and Dallan; Grandchildren: Owen, Jordan, Cole, Emery, Kennedy, and Isaac; Parents: Dillard Glass (Kathy) and Simone Busby Elliott; Siblings: Denise Witt (Mark), Deanna Stout, Daniell Glass (Charris), Shane Smethers, Shani Glass, Dustin Glass (Heather), Karen Elliott Mollenhour, Brandy Elliott, Kristie Elliott Amato, Robanne Elliott Robbin, Keegan Elliott, Shannon Elliott McKinney (Kevin); and ex-wife Stefanee Glass.

He was preceded in death by step-father Kenneth "Skip" Elliott, and brother-in-law Kenneth Stout.

David will be remembered for his faith in our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, his love of serving others, his devotion to his family, and his strong work ethic. He also loved the great outdoors, hiking and exploring the beautiful canyons, mountains, and taking the long way.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Silverlake Stake Center, 4506 E. Pony Express Pkwy, Eagle Mountain Utah.

Prior to services, a viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 am with a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 5th, at the Silverlake Stake Center.
