David Goodwin Obituary
Mr. David Hiram Goodwin, age 78, of Dickson, TN, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Dickson, TN. David was born in Waverly, TN, on December 6, 1945, to Felix Goodwin and Maudeline Dreaden Goodwin. He was a self employed concrete finisher. David had a love for the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the peaceful and spiritual connection that he had with nature.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, James Goodwin, Parsons, TN; 2 grandsons, Tyler Goodwin and Aaron Goodwin, both of Camden, TN; granddaughter, Mackayla Bone, Camden, TN; Niece, Jaclyn Dill (Austin), Waverly, TN; Sisters in law Lisa Clement, Dickson, TN and Linda Dunn, Clarksville, TN.
Along with his parents Felix and Maudeline Goodwin he is preceded in death by his 4 brothers, Mack Goodwin, Phil Goodwin, John Ed Goodwin, and Kenneth Dreaden.
A visitation for David will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Luff-Bowen in Waverly beginning at 10 A.M. until the service time at 2 P.M. Brother Jeremy McFarlin will be officiating the service. Interment will follow the services at J Warren Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
