I've spent the past week looking for photos of David and me from a family reunion many years ago, but have not located them. However, pictures will never replace the memories of that time. David and I were teammates for a series of events that had been planned for the week, and our matching light blue Hawaiian patterned shirts and white bucket caps easily identified us. I was so happy to see the excitement on his face, as a youngster, and it was his smile that will always bring one of mine. I last spoke with David a couple of months ago on a FaceTime call. He was busy detailing a car that his father had decided to sell. His attention to the task at hand demonstrated his love for cars, and for his father, my nephew Brian. David and I talked for over an hour, and he told me about the time he was spending taking care of his grandfather, Otis. He truly cared for him in the best and deepest way possible. These are the memories of David that I will carry with me. The sparkle in his eyes, and the broad grin on his face are not to be forgotten. I am sending my love and affection to Brian, Whitney, Scott, Mandy and their children today. I hope you find some solace in knowing that David's memory will live on. Love, Randy
