David Gray Obituary


DAVID CHARLES GRAY, age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
David was born September 13, 1946, to Harry and Helen (Wilson) Gray in Huntington, WV. He graduated from Venson High School in 1965. Afterwards he joined the United States Air Force. He met the love of his love after the Air Force, Linda Hood. They married on December 27, 1969. David and Linda were married for 56 years until her death on April 14, 2025. They had children, Jennifer and James.
David was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry and Helen Gray; and his wife, Linda Gray.
David is survived by: his children, Jennifer (Jason Thomas) Gray and James Gray; 3 grandchildren, Thomas (Lauren) Gallagher, Dakota Gray, and Linda Knoll; 3 great-grandchildren, Matilda Gallagher, Beau Ripley, and Braxton Gallagher; 3 sisters, Hank Bledsoe, Danna Kelley, and Eva Farley; nephews, Shawn Kelley, John (Jennifer) Bledsoe, Randy (Jama) Bledsoe, Pat Bledsoe, and Paul Overway; niece, Catherine Quinn.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from Noon to 1 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, MI 49424, followed by a funeral service with Military Honors at 1 p.m.
