David Lynn Green, Sr. was born on March 20, 1949, in Weatherford, Texas, and he peacefully passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 76.
David proudly served his country in the United States Army, completing two tours in Vietnam. His dedication to public service continued after his military career as he took on roles as a Police Officer and a Deputy Sheriff, earning respect and admiration from those he served.
A lover of classic cars and spontaneous road trips, David cherished the joy of travel and the experiences it brought. He valued time spent with family and friends, often around the table playing dominos and enjoying a meal at various restaurants in town. His greatest delight, however, was playing with his beloved grand-babies.
David was preceded in death by his parents, T.W. Lunsford, known as "T," and Ruth Lunsford, and by his brothers, Royce Green and Don Green.
David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy Green of Weatherford, Texas; son, David Green, Jr. and wife, Julie; daughter, Jennifer Green White and husband, Maxwell; grandchildren, Jessica Farrah, Kelsey White, Wrenley White, and Marceline White; great-granddaughter, Lauren Farrah; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Cagle and wife, Sue, and Jimmy Cagle.
