David Allen Guy, 67 of Tomah, died on Friday February 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Sparta, Wisconsin to Hugh and Beatrice (Armstrong) Guy on April 23, 1956. David was known as a handy man and always found a way to fix what was broken, a true jack of all trades. He was very hard working, from sunup until sundown as he had been a farmer all of his life. David loved his dogs and treated them as if they were his children. His "good little girl, Lily" went with him everywhere he would go. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.
David is survived by his children; Desirae (Eric) Robarge, Sulynn Lamere, Casey (Jon) You, Kelly (Jordan) Westphal and Latoya (Tomas) Aguilar. He is further survived by his 18 grandchildren, Morgan, Ronan, Littea, Colten, Jathan, Elijah, Arielah, Adrianne, Ace, Anna, Cruz, Ayvah, Isaac, Emma, Letty and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colette Guy, his parents, siblings, Beverly Stanhope, Hugh "Jr." Guy, and Harold Guy.
A Visitation will be held on March 3, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
