David Sidney Hager August 7, 1944 – September 22, 2021 David Sidney Hager, 77 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. David is survived by his wife, Sandra Overton Hager; sons, Geoffrey Hager and wife, Norma of Winston Salem, and Derek Hager and wife, Sonja of Winston Salem; step-son, Derek Fitzgerald and wife, Erin of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Cindel Hager, Gilia Hager, David Hager, Donovan Hager, Mckenna Hager, and Emma Fitzgerald, and his trusted companion, Apollo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Smith, and his parents, Sidney Johnston Hager and Ruth Briggs Hager. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Autism Speaks, 8604 Cliff Cameron Drive, Suite 144, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269.
