Wake services for David Allen Hail, 66, of Longdale, Oklahoma will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Canton Emergency Response Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the same venue with Pastor Gerald Panana officiating. Interment will follow at the Canton Reinterment Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma.
David Allen Hail was born March 1, 1959 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Bruce Whiteman and Dorothy Hail. He departed this life early Saturday morning, July 5, 2025 at his residence in Longdale, Oklahoma.
David was raised in the Canton and Longdale communities and attended Canton High School, before furthering his education in college. He had worked for the Lucky Star Casino at Concho and had been a truck driver also. David enjoyed going to Powwows, the casino and listening to classic music from the 50's and 60's. He loved his grandchildren very much and also enjoyed doing artwork and spending time in the outdoors.
David was preceded in death by his parents; son Joey Oliver; brothers George Hail, Jack Hail and Melbourn Whiteman; sisters Brenda Martinez and Jackie Barnes; Survivors include his son, Billy Oliver of Durant, OK; grandchildren Seth Oliver, Kobe Oliver, Peyton Old Bear, Asher Oliver, Bentleigh Oliver, Raven Oliver, Shay Oliver, Mitchell Olivera and Demontre Whiteman; great-granddaughter Dalilah Oliver; nieces Brenda Whiteman and Mariah Whiteman and many extended family and friends.
