David Hamlin Obituary
Born January 11, 1971, in Iowa City, he was the son of Jack Frederick and Sharon Kay Jones Hamlin.
David worked as a material handler at Winegard, and also part time at Walmart.
He loved to spend time in the peace of the outdoors; especially camping, fishing and hunting. David also enjoyed reading. David will be remembered for his friendship, and as a man who enjoyed his solitude.
Family includes his mother, Sharon Kay Hamlin; two children, Joshua Ball, and Kayla Hamlin; two sisters, Sharon Kaye (Jerry) Masching, and Kimberly Bohannan; nieces and nephews, Rene (Dustin), Christina (Jason), and Jacob; and five great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
David's family will receive guests for visitation from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, November 1, 2024 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
