David Haney Obituary
grew up in Battle Ground, WA where he was a graduate of the 1970 class of Battle Ground High
School.
In his young adult years David was a musician and worked in sales. He later worked for many
years in transportation logistics. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, collecting die cast and
sports memorabilia, and watching classic rock and roll performances.
David was preceded in death by his birth father, Donald Saul, in 1954, and his mother, Jeanette
Haney, in 2001. He leaves behind his father, Donald Haney, sister Jan Hall, 2 nieces, and 1 grand
nephew.
David always had a soft spot for cats, strays in particular. Memorial contributions are
encouraged to the Southwest Washington Humane Society.
