David Hays Obituary
David was born the son of Truman Jefferson and Velma Buelah Irene (Hines) Hays on April 30, 1961, in Chillicothe, Missouri. David enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska.
He liked tinkering with motors of all kinds, and loved to carve wooden mushrooms.
David is survived by two sons, David Paul Hays of Austin, Texas and Garrett Hays of Bogard, Missouri; one brother, Danny Hays (Debbie) of Carrollton, Missouri; three sisters, Theresa Clevenger (Gail) of Chillicothe, Missouri, Helen Whitmore of Marshall, Missouri and Karen Davis of Carrollton, Missouri; He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Cremation was held. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the David Hays Memorial (please make checks payable to Theresa Clevenger) and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
