DAVID HILL affectionately known as Dave and Big Dave was born on July 16th, 1956, in Johnson, South Carolina to Corine and Bennie Hill who proceeded him in death. David was educated in South Carolina School District, concluding with Strom Thurmond High School.
David migrated to Philadelphia in 1972 soon after his arrival to Philadelphia he met and married his devoted and loving wife Olivia (Sissy) Williams to their Union two son were born.
David was a hardworking man who worked many jobs to provide for his family before he retired as a roofer. He was also a part of the Free Mason but held the title as a Master Mason. He was a devoted member of Holy Temple Godly Christ Church. Big Dave hobbies were fishing, riding around all day and of course spending Quality time with his family and friends.
Dave loved to find different ways to make extra money. People were always drawn to Dave's fantastic sense of humor. The world will sure to be a lot duller without his infectious laughter and his ability to make light of any situation. He never missed an opportunity to crack a joke at any time. To know Dave is to know that he loved to eat. He was not one to pass up a good meal.
As David Health declined his wife Sissy and first grandson David ensured he was well taking care of. Dave prided himself on being a hard-working family man. He was a great husband, a wonderful dad, and a hands-on grandfather.
Dave leaves behind to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Olivia Hill; 3 sons Lamont Williams, David Williams and Anthony Hill, 1 daughter Tasha Hill. A very special niece who he raised as his own Sharonda Williams, 1 Brother Cleveland Hill; 2 sister-in laws Pearl and Gloria Hill; His grandchildren David Williams Jr who he shared a special bond with. Daquan Williams, Zaeed Trower, Sayire and Saniyah Hill, Ashton Williams and his special gifts his twin granddaughters Liberty and Lilly Williams. Dave also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David other siblings whom were previously called to glory Bennie Hill, James Hill, Eddie Hill and Dorothy Hill. He was well loved by the community, 46th street was his second home.
