David William Iten (age 69) of Cambridge, MN passed away on April 7, 2024 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
David was a Sr. Master Sgt. in the Air Force, retiring after 21 years. He received the second highest rank for an enlisted man with several accolades for being an accomplished recruiter for the Air Force recruiting RN's. He went on to work another 21 years as a United States Postal carrier in San Marcos, Texas.
After retirement he moved back to Minnesota where he was born and raised. He graduated from Monroe High School (class of 1973). David loved all Minnesota sports teams, fishing, and spending time with family.
David was admired by all as a hard-working father, dedicated to supporting his family.
David was preceded in death by his father Art Iten; mother Mary Reinke; and sister Judy Johnson.
Survived by children Joseph (Kristen) Iten and Linda Kay Iten; grandchildren Brenden, Caleb, Bria, Aria; siblings Mary, Larry, Barb Schumann, Kevin (Bonnie) Reinke, Theresa (Don) Swanson; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at KESSLER & MCGUIRE Funeral Home (640 West 7th St., Saint Paul, MN 55102) on April 19th from 3PM-6PM with a private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
