David Jesse Jackson

David Jesse Jackson, 83, of Louisa, KY, formerly of Wayne, WV passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at his home. He was born July 4, 1942 at Crum, WV, a son of the late David Jesse and Myrtle Fuller Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Jackson, three brothers, Russell, Glen, and Arnold Jackson, four sisters, Ida Kimberlyn, Faye Peterson, Mary Jackson, and Betty Fletcher, and four grandchildren, Barbara Kay Blackburn, Jamie Ray Robertson, David Lee Robertson, and Bridgett Ann Robertson. Survivors include three daughters, Annette Jackson of Louisa, KY, Rosa Jackson of Wayne, WV, and Davina Mullens of Huntington, WV; a sister, Wilma Jean Davis of Palestine, IN; two brothers, Roy Jackson of Green Hill, AL, and James Jackson of Flat Gap, KY; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
