David Paul Jester, 89, of Chester, West Virginia, sadly passed away on November 16, 2022. He passed peacefully in the presence of Hospice and close family.
David is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Thomas, and Sharon Hays, as well as his granddaughters, Sabrina White, and Jessica Hays, son-in-law, Julian Jaramillo, and great-granddaughters, Taylor Pulley and Ember Hays.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Chloanne Cabell Jester.
Born July 20, 1933, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Larkin Jester. David was a graduate of Wells High in Newell. He attended College at Wester Virginia University where he met the love of his life, Chloe Anne Jester. He was a proud member of the Weirton Steel Male Chorus and East Liverpool Dahlia Society. He formerly served as a Volunteer Firefighter in Newell, WV.
David had many things that brought him passion. Some of those were his prized dahlias and his fruit farm and vegetable garden. He took pride in his farm throughout the years. He loved to make fresh jam and tomato soup from the fruit he picked from the garden. David loved taking his grandchildren on hayrides and letting them help with gardening. He will forever be missed and will never be forgotten.
First and foremost, David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Private funeral services were held at the Arner Funeral Chapel.
