AMELIA - David B. Johnson, Sr., age 72, passed away on May 7, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1952, to the late Chester "Bernard" Johnson and surviving Alberta (nee Pierce) Johnson. David was the devoted husband for 54 years of Brenda Johnson (nee Kinman); loving father of David (Tracey) Johnson, Jr., Dawn (Jerald) Young, Lisa (Christopher Yasbeck) Black, and Melinda (Shane Nobel) Tuneburg; cherished grandfather of Korin, Jay, Kaylee, Nick, Alex, Amber, Summer, Allison, Autumn, Travis, Tierra, Haylee, and Caelyn; great-grandfather of Kasondra, Kevin, Kaydince, Gage, Evalynn, Bryse, Kinsley, Ryder, Rosalee, Hunter, and Topanga; dear brother of Paul (Pat) Johnson, Danny (Cindy) Johnson, and Mark Johnson; and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, David was also preceded in death by son-in-law Travis Tuneburg, Sr. 

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 5-7PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10AM, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Lucy Run Cemetery.
