He graduated from Butner High School. He served in the marine corps for 4 years. He attended First Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK. David enjoyed reading, studying archeology, history, fishing, drinking coffee, going on roadtrips, and visiting Arizona. He loved his dogs and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.
David is survived by his wife, Linda Jones of the home; children, Kevin Jones and wife Cynthia of Shawnee, OK, Kelly Jones and wife Manuela of Wassila, AK; grandchildren, Brennen Jones, Samuel Jones, Rebecca Jones, Eliana Jones, Eddison Jones, Jordan Jones, and Eryk Jones; siblings, Roland Jones of Wewoka, OK Melvin Jones and wife Glenna of Shawnee, OK, and grandchildren, along with numerous of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Honorary pallbearers: Art Garner, Tim Anderson, Larry Jernigan, Mike Findley, Ronald Sosbee, Brett Breedlove, Brett Stoud, and Jerry Tank.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
