Theresa, NY- David Jones, 46, of Theresa, New York, passed away at his home on September 16, 2025.

Many knew him lovingly as "Tige," a nickname that followed him throughout his life.

David was a devoted father, loving husband, and kind-hearted soul whose quiet strength and

caring nature touched everyone around him. He served proudly in the military, worked as a

skilled mechanic, and worked in construction at Fort Drum, demonstrating dedication, discipline,

and a strong work ethic in all he did. He was always ready to lend a hand, never complained,

and would do anything for anyone. His soft-spoken spirit and genuine kindness left an

impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family was at the center of David's world. He shared an unbreakable bond with his son,

Brandon, who was his pride and joy. Whether they were hunting, fishing, shooting, or simply

driving around together, they did everything side by side. If you saw David's truck, Brandon was

always in the passenger seat. Their closeness was admired by many and will be cherished

forever.

David also shared his heart with his wife, Angela Jones, who was his partner and best friend,

and with his stepchildren, Megan Lamora of Watertown and Azzie Lamora of Canton. He built a

home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will live on through them.

He leaves behind his mother, Lorri Chambers of Great Bend; his brothers, Ezrail Jones of

Theresa and Clayton Chambers of Great Bend; and many nieces and nephews who adored

their "Uncle Dave/ Uncle Tige." He was preceded in death by his father, David Jones.

David will be remembered not only as a devoted family man but also as a friend who could be

counted on in times of need. He loved the outdoors, sports, and simple moments with the

people he loved most. He brought comfort, joy, and strength to so many, and his absence

leaves a hole in the hearts of his family, who are deeply heartbroken.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the

Evans Mills Fire Hall. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of his remarkable

life, to share stories, and to honor the man who meant so much to so many.

Though his time here was far too short, the love David gave will carry on. His family finds peace

in knowing he is now at rest, and they ask that God take care of him until they meet again.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home Inc. in Watertown, NY. Online condolences may be shared at www.clevelandfhinc.com.
