David Lee Jones, 82, of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
He was a truck driver for AAA Cooper Transportation in Dothan, Alabama for over thirty-four years and was a member of the Five Million Mile Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Jones; his brother, Bobby Jones; and his sisters, Kay Henderson and Carol Baillieul all of Rochester, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Becki N. Jones of Grand Ridge, Florida; his daughter, Missy Crosby and her husband, Scott of Tallahassee, Florida; his son, Matt Jones of Grand Ridge, Florida; and his three grandchildren, Tyler Jones of Grand Ridge, Florida; Charlie Crosby and his wife, Taylor of Tallahassee, Florida; and Kyndall Estes and her husband, Trevor of Tallahassee, Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Fred Jones and his wife, Joyce of Indiana; his sister, Janelle Smith and a special brother-in-law, Everett Henderson, also of Indiana; and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
