On January 10th, 2026 David, 66 of Belmont, Vermont, passed away surrounded by family after battling cancer.

David Josselyn was survived by his wife of 42 years, Beth Josselyn and their two sons, Ethan and Wesley Josselyn. Dorothy Josselyn, and daughters Chloe and Ava; Meagan Keith and daughters, Ella and Bailey. His parents Richard and Marion Josselyn; Siblings and spouses; Peter and Pamela Josselyn, Joseph and Lynn Josselyn, Matthew and Darla Josselyn, Angela and Greg Martin, along with extended family.

David was born and raised in Ludlow, Vermont. Graduated Paul Smith's College, NY. David's life's work was in carpentry.

Completing his career with Josselyn Brother's Construction. Teaching his craft to his sons and family.

David enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was loyal to family first and foremost, devoted to those he loved with unwavering commitment. His sense of loyalty extended beyond blood, embracing close friends, colleagues, and all who became part of his chosen family. To know him you were met with strength, courage, and respect.

All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, that will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 1-5pm at the American Legion Post 36, 133 Main Street

Ludlow, VT
