David M. Kapsiak

David M. Kapsiak, 79, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away August 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. David was born in Buffalo, New York on September 3, 1945.

David is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kathy), of 41 years; his children, son Jeffrey (wife Kimberly) Kapsiak and daughter Kelly Kapsiak; three grandchildren, Zachary (wife Estela), Morgan, and Kinsley; and nephew Shane Kapsiak.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Kapsiak and Bernice Kapsiak, and his brother James Kapsiak.

Dave proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked at Dunlop Tire in Buffalo, N.Y. before moving to League City, where he retired from BP Amoco in Texas City. Dave didn't like retirement, so his next adventure was working for Hovensa in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. After that, he contracted for several companies and traveled to Colombia and Wyoming.

Dave enjoyed working with wood, creating many projects that his family will treasure and pass down for years to come. He crafted beautiful bedroom furniture, cabinets, bookcases, and anything that he wanted to spend his time on.

He will be deeply missed by his precious granddaughter, Kinsley, who called him "Papaw."

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
