David Leon Keefe, age 24, of Chesterfield County, VA, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023.
David grew up in Rawlings, VA and was a 2016 graduate of Brunswick Senior High School. He was an avid baseball player, participating in the Brunswick Dixie Youth League, the Brunswick Babe Ruth League, and the Brunswick Senior High School Bulldogs. David enjoyed hunting and was a member of Red Oak Hunt Club. He was also a member of New Hope Christian Church and was employed by Dominion Energy Virginia.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Shannon Keefe, and Walter and Wakako Reno; his siblings, Kacie, Thomas, Timothy, and Langley Keefe, Jasmine, Spirika, and Lika Reno; grandparents, Frankie and Linda Keefe, Stan and Linda Helm, and Roger Barker; an uncle, Jody Barker (April); a great-uncle, Wayne Keefe, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Barker; great-grandparents, David Manning Keefe and Alice Jones Keefe; and a great-uncle, David Dale Keefe.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home & Crematory in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m. A fellowship meal will follow the service at Red Oak Hunt Club, 3911 Lew Jones Road, Alberta, VA 23821.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Christian Church Youth Group, 742 New Hope Road, Alberta, VA 23821.
