David L. Keeler

Leetonia - David L. Keeler, 89, of Leetonia, died on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Windsor House at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

He was born on March 4, 1936, in Berlin Center, OH, a son of the late Gerald and Dorothy Harshman Keeler and had lived in the area most of his life.

He was a graduate of Berlin Center High School and had served in the U.S. Army. David had worked as a Electrician/Millwright for E. W. Bliss Company in Salem for 40 years. David was a member of Saint Carlo Acutis Parish, Saint Patrick Church of Leetonia. He was an avid Ohio State fan as well as the Cleveland sports teams.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jackie Beltempo Keeler whom he married on September 30, 1961; his daughter, Marcie (Mark Fletcher) Keeler/Fletcher of Columbiana, OH; three sisters, Dorothea Wise of Columbiana, OH, Judy Miller of Salem, OH, Sharon Jucikas of South Carolina; and a brother, Dale Keeler of Berlin Center, OH.

Private services will be at the Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield with the Very Reverend Chad Johnson V.F. officiating.

If friends desire, material tributes may take the form of a donation to the Leetonia High School Scholarship Fund, 450 Walnut Street, Leetonia, OH 44431. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
