Sandra Ruth Keeler

Sandra Ruth Keeler, age 79, of Vestaburg, Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 25, 2026.

Sandra was born on September 2, 1947, to Elmer Dale Nickerson and Evelyn Vera Fishburn. On October 30, 1965, she married the love of her life and lifelong partner, Steve Keeler. Together they were blessed with 60 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion.

Sandra was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family. She spent her years as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love. Her family lovingly described her as kind-hearted, gentle, and full of grace. She had a special gift in the kitchen and was known as an amazing cook whose meals brought everyone together around the table.

In her younger years, when her children were still at home, Sandra found joy in tending to her beautiful flower gardens and spending time gardening. She also enjoyed crocheting and sharing her handmade treasures with those she loved. Above all, she treasured her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she took great pride in each and every one of them.

Sandra is lovingly remembered by her husband, Steve Keeler; her son, Steve (Wendy) Keeler; her daughters, Amy Frisbey and Kathy (Paul) Vanevery; her sisters, Linda Thrush, Carole (Dennis) Thayer, her twin sister, Gloria (Harry) Ryckman; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Edmore, Michigan.

Sandra's gentle spirit, loving heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
