David "Dave" George Kenepp

May 22, 1950 – November 27, 2025

David "Dave" George Kenepp, of Newmarket, NH, formerly of Nahant, MA, passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving Day. He leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend, Ellen Keefe; his loving daughters, Marjorie "Maggie" Yebba (Sean) of Billerica, MA, and Michelle Litzenberg (Andrew) of Reading, MA; and his greatest joys-his grandsons, Samuel Yebba and Thomas Litzenberg, who brought endless laughter and pride to his life. He is also survived by his brothers Dennis (Ruth) and Douglas (Paula) Kenepp, of Altoona, PA and many cherished extended family and friends.

Dave was born and raised in Altoona, PA. Dave was a proud graduate of Lafayette College, where he played football and built friendships that lasted a lifetime. He retired as Assistant Vice President at Liberty Mutual Insurance after more than three decades of dedicated service. In retirement, he volunteered with Future In Sight helping blind and visually impaired clients and served as Treasurer and Board Member. He and Ellen also enjoyed their time at the Portsmouth Yacht Club, where Dave served on the Board of Directors and as Vice Commodore. He loved the outdoors, fishing, sports, reading, his Friday breakfast group and most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and many friends.

Dave will always be remembered as the quintessential good guy-wise, kind, respectful, dependable, honest, easy to be with, and of course, charming and fun. For Ellen, Maggie, Sean, Sam, Michelle, Andy, and Thomas, his love was a constant source of strength and joy. They will be forever grateful for the devoted, selfless man who gave so much of himself as a loving husband, father, father-in-law, and "Papi."

Memorial Visitation: Sunday, December 7, 2025, 2–5 PM at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, Arlington, MA. Burial private.
