David Wayne Kerr, age 68, of Holly, M, formally of Davidson, died on October 9, 2024. David was born to Janette Esther Hicks and Robert Burns Kerr on June 16, 1956 in Flint, Michigan. Raised by loving mother and stepfather Ron Dewey Timpe. David married Cathy Elaine Curtis on October 7, 1977. He had two wonderful children Eric Wayne and Ryan David. His family grew by daughter-in-law Nicole Marie Kerr and granddaughters Aubrey Nicole Kerr, Avery Ryann Kerr (arriving soon) and Vivian Little. He was preceded in death by his mother Janette Kerr/Timpe, father Robert Kerr, stepfather Ron Timpe, mother-in-law Bertha Curtis, brother Robert Kerr and brothers-in-law; Eldon Curtis and Gordon Curtis.
David had many friends, too numerous to count, that he truly loved and cared for. Without a doubt he lived his life to the fullest, while spreading his smile to all. His goal in life was to simply make everyone's day just a little brighter. He was a devoted and loving man to his family and friends. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He had many hobbies which he enjoyed doing and sharing with others. Such as; hunting, fishing, working out, but most of all coaching was his true passion.
Visitation will begin on Friday, October 11, from 2PM until 9PM and again from 12 noon until time of service at 1PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Dryer Funeral Home in Holly. www.dryerfuneralhomeholly.com
