David Leo King, age 91, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home January 8, 2026.
He was born to David C. and Vira A. (Smith) King December 21, 1934. He was known to his friends as Smokey and to family as Lee.
He lived in Lancaster, Ohio area most of his life. Retiring from Techniglas after over 50 years. He seved in the U.S. Army. He was a very gifted mechanic and could fix "just about anything". After retiring he was involved with Mott's Military Museum.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Carol. Son, David L. King, daughter, Debra L. King, six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and good friend Frank Stump.
David is preceded in death by his son Derek L. King, brothers: Leon Jack (Alice) King, R. Roger King, sister: Thelma Ester (Robert) Yaple and parents: David C. and Vira A. King as well as several other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
