Grave side services to be Monday, 3:00pm, February 9th, in evergreen cemetery with pastor Aaron Dowler officiating.

David Andrew King of Okeechobee, Florida, died on Monday, February 2, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 30, 1947, in Clay County, West Virginia, and was the son of David Pierson King and Edith Jane King. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ruth King, and daughter, Rosanna Marie Shachtele. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Polk, Priscella Grose, and Berdina Frisbie; and five brothers, Archie King, James King, Oliver King, William Nutter, and Alvin King.
David loved the outdoors, gardening, working on cars, fishing and hunting. David took great pride in caring for his children and grandchildren. David King is survived by one son, James Manning King, one brother; Curtis King; two grandchildren, David Skinner (Tasha) and Matthew Schachtele; four great grandchildren, Clifford, Sabrina, Raven, and Lucian.

Grave side services to be Monday, 3:00pm, February 9th, in evergreen cemetery with pastor Aaron Dowler officiating.
