David Kowalkowski, age 63 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on March 9, 2026. David was born on February 18, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Patricia Kowalkowski.
David worked in many fields from painting and roofing to truck driving and mechanics. He loved caring for his indoor and outdoor cats.
David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Robert (Jeanne) Kowalkowski, niece Melissa Kowalkowski (Andrew Ekberg) and nephew Robert (Kat) Kowalkowski. David also leaves behind coworkers, neighbors and friends.
Interment will be a private event in the Chicago area where he will be laid to rest beside his mother.
