David Charles Kubosh of Millsap, Texas lost his battle to cancer on November 6, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.
David was an employee for 23 years at the Weatherford Post Office as a rual carrier. In his time off, you could always find him using his mechanical skills on anything from small engine repair to cars. He was a jack of all trades and shared his knowledge with his son and grandsons.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Nancy Kubosh; son, William Jacobs and wife Deanna of Millsap; daughter, Chelsa Johnson and husband Johnny Lang of Mineral Wells; daughter, Shauna Jacobs of Millsap; cherished friend, Bill Maltby; grandchildren, David and Thomas Jacobs, Donovan Hunt, Zachary, Trinity, Jesse, and Mason Thigpen, Austin Johnson, Alex and Sam Tillman; great-grandchildren, Volton Wayne Godfrey, Kolson Charles Godfrey, Mazikeen Nova Godfrey, Christopher Kyles Thigpen, Max Lee Nickles; sister, LouAnne Siegel; nephews, Chris James and Josh Siegel; cousin, Kenny Lowe; and best friend, Johnny Radford.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kay Kubosh; brother, Jimmy Kubosh; sister, Karen Cox; nephew, Ty Ely; son, George Johnson; and granddaughter, Ashley Hunt.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel.
