David Laird was a good man and
friend, who told good jokes, had
patience, common sense, and told it
like it was. He loved to teach how
to fish, and how to "fix" things.
He will be sorely missed by the
many who had the good fortune to
meet him.

David (Big Dad),
In my life I always wanted a
person that I could always be
around and be myself. I found a
freind, a family, and a teacher.
You have taught me how to believe
in myself and be thankful for what
I have! I always enjoyed the fire
side talks when you would share
your life with us. I wll very much
miss your whit. I have been
included in your life for so long
that I will charish the past and
always keep you in my heart. I
know I will see you again and I
know that your at peace. Mark and
Babo are just fine. I am always
with you so come on by if your in
the neighborhood. I'll be waiting
for our fishing trip. May peace be
with you.....
Love Jay

Big Dad was a great man. He was a
person that you could spend all day
with out on the deer lease. He was
a man of much knowledge. I enjoyed
the times that i got to spend with
him. I wish that i was able to say
bye but i was not given the chance
too. So Big Dad even though i am
not a grandchild of yours you made
me feel like one. So I Love you
and I will miss you greatly.
Love Jason
