David Lane Obituary
David Lee Lane, 50, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA due to complications related to infection and multiple organ failure. Born on August 11, 1973 in Welch, WV, he was a son of Leroy and Patty Lane. He had been a resident of Bluefield for the most part of his life. He attended Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church on occasion. He was an avid deer hunter, amazing with horses, a self-taught mason, and was very artistic.
Survivors include his parents, Leroy and Patty Lane of Littlesburg Road; daughter, Leiha Sue Lane of Red Oak Ridge Road; brother, Michael Lane and wife, Andreana Lane of Littlesburg Road; nephews, Michael Lane, U.S. Army of JBLM, WA, and Matthew Lane, U.S. Marine Corps, and his wife, Victoria Lane; and great-niece, Emmy Lane of Camp Lejuene, NC.
Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2024 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Dana Truckenmiller and Pastor Danny Bowles officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Lane family.
