Robert Jennings Hager 84 of Fowlerville Ml formerly of Princeton WV passed away on February 9, 2026 with family by his side. Born December 12, 1941 in Glenwood to the late Carl and Gladys (Taylor) Hager. He attended Glenwood Junior High School and Princeton Senior High School. While in school he was a golf caddy at the Elks Golf Course and after high school he was employed by Pruett Upholstery. He also loved hunting, fishing and was an avid woodworker in which he made beautiful pieces and gave them to family and friends. Those lucky enough to receive his gifts will treasure them forever.
In May 1965 Robert married his wife and lifelong love Connie (Cole) Hager. In March 1966 they welcomed their first son Robert (Bob) Hager and then in March 1971 their second son David Hager. Robert and Connie moved to Michigan in 1968 where Robert pursued a career and retired from General Motors Corp in Livonia MI.
Those proceeding him in death are his parents, Carl and Gladys Hager of Glenwood WV. His brother Wayne and Kathey Hager of Princeton WV. His sister Judith (Judy) and Elmo Wright of Princeton WV. His baby sister Linda (Katie) and Dallas Hubbard of Glenwood W. Those left to Cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years Connie (Cole) Hager. His oldest son Robert (Bob) and Cyndy Hager and their children Lea Hager, Garrett Hager and Kelsey Hager all of the home of Walled Lake MI. Also, his youngest son David Hager and his daughter Lorelei Hager of White Lake MI, plus a host of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Robert's wishes he will be cremated and there will be a service at a later date. The Hager family is being served by: Livingston Cremation and Funeral Care in Howell, MI.
