Eli Stacy Sizemore

HERNDON - Eli Stacy Sizemore, 74, of Herndon, WV, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, after a prolonged illness.

Stacy was born on September 28, 1951, in Pineville, WV, to Eli and Annie Mullens-Sizemore.

He graduated from Pineville High School and worked as a mechanic in the preparation plant at US Steele in Pinnacle, WV, for 33 and 1/3 years. He was medically retired after an accident in August 2007.

Stacy married Patricia "Porkey" Lusk Sizemore on October 6, 1979, and together they built a life centered around their family and their faith. Stacy was known for his love of his children and grandchildren, for coaching various youth sports leagues, for coffee, Black & Mild cigars, and for the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ellen, Clara, and Vida; sister-in-law Joyce; mother-in-law, Arietta; and brother-in-law, Wayne.

He is survived by his loving wife, Porkey; daughter, Dr. Kathleen "Katie" Sauls (Princess); son, Benjamin "Benji" Sizemore and wife Dr. Corinne Adkins; grandsons, Gavin Sauls and Samuel Sauls; siblings, Barbara Walker, Richard (Lynn) Sizemore, Mervin (Jewell) Sizemore, Elizabeth Kennedy, and Gloria (Herb) Blankenship; sister-in-law, Brenda Compton; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with Rev. Lewis Arnold, officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
