David Charles Lange
David Charles Lange, age 71, of Erie, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at his home. He was born in Erie on January 16, 1953, son of the late Leonard H. and Ruth Hermansen Lange.
David was married to Nancy Hughes on December 24, 1985. David attended St. Stanislaus Grade School in Erie and graduated from Erie Technical Memorial High School in 1970. He was employed at General Electric for 39 years and retired in 2009. He was active in the Griswold Cast Iron Cookware Association and chaired several Erie conventions. He was an avid collector of cast iron and quite knowledgeable of the history of the Griswold Company in Erie, PA where his father and uncle worked. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching baseball and frequently attended the Erie Seawolves baseball games in section 111 row G.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Lange. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; daughter, Theresa Noll (David); grandson, Xander; granddaughter, Ashley Eller (Chris); two great-granddaughters, Kaelyn and Raila; brother, Leonard B. Lange (Pam); niece, Sarah Lange; and nephew, Steven Lange.
Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday, July 6th from 3 pm until the time of the Memorial Service there at 6 pm conducted by Rev. James McCormick.
