Michael S. Hull

Michael S. Hull, age 64, was born March 26, 1961 and passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 from leukemia. He lived in North East, PA most of his life. Michael had a wonderful spirit, was very ambitious, hardworking and an awesome husband to Melody (Dana) for 46 years and a great father to their only child, Duane Hull and his wife Shelley and their children Troy and Lorin Hull.

Michael graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1979 and attended the Erie County Technical School for Tool and Die. He first worked for General Electric, then Electric Materials Co. before he became self-employed by opening Hull Excavating Inc. retiring in 2016.

Michael had a lot of fortitude in everything he did. He loved to hunt out west on many trips and enjoyed to golf with many friends and family. Michael loved to ride side by sides with friends down in Templeton area, where they moved to later in life. He enjoyed fishing in Lake Erie for walleye and working in his garage on various projects.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Hull; sister, Marsha (Hull) DeVries; baby brother, Edward; parents-in-law, Lawrence and Genevieve Dana; and sister-in-law, Laurie Dana. He is further survived by his sister, Sherrie Zimmer and her husband Frank; brother, Randy Hull and his wife Christine; sister, Robin Burch and her husband Steve; three brothers-in-law, Bud (Laura) and Matt Dana and Jim DeVries; and several nieces and nephews.
