David William Lange, 75, born August 22, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Thomas Warner Lange and Eva Loeta Burke (née Price) passed quietly the evening of March 2, 2026 in Bloomington, Indiana.
David served proudly in the United States Air Force for seven years in the air traffic control division. David moved to Indiana in 1985. He worked many years in the casino industry as a dealer and after retiring moved back to St. Louis. He moved back to Indiana in May 2025.
David was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Thomas Lange and sister Patricia Jorke.
He is survived by his daughter Patience Smith and grandson Gavin Smith of Brandon, MS, sisters Terry Keymer (d Bob), Sandra Cicchitto (Nelson), Barbara Webb (Allen), Nancy Eaton (Steve) Susan Koltun (Ben) and brother Patrick Burke, as well as many nieces and nephews.
As per his request, there will be no services held and he will be cremated and his ashes spread in Aruba, one of his favorite places to visit.
