David A. Langner

David A. Langner, of Bridgewater, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2023, at the age of 59. David was a skilled machinist and grinder who worked for The Gillette Company for 37 years, before retiring last summer. Since his retirement, David enjoyed spending time with those he loved most. He cherished his family and time together spent outdoors when kayaking, hiking, camping, and riding his ATV or snowmobile. He also took great joy in teaching and mentoring others at both home and work, most recently as a volunteer for the robotics program at Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School. He took great pride in building and improving his home and lending a helping hand to his children with their own projects and goals. He also was an avid Boston sports fan who loved kicking back and watching games. He will be deeply missed and remembered for the genuine, fun, and kind-hearted man he was. He was adored by all who knew him.
Beloved husband of 28 years to his loving wife, Stacey (McDonald) Langner of Bridgewater. Devoted father of Jennifer Langner and her fiancé Matthew Fallon of Colorado, Christopher A. Langner and his fiancée Katelyn Goodrich of Vermont, and Anna Langner of Bridgewater. Beloved son of the late Rudolph Langner. Loving brother of Theresa Kirslis of Pembroke, Rudy Langner and his wife Mary of Duxbury and Gloria Pegurri and her husband Michael of Norwell. Cherished uncle of his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford Street in Bridgewater.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in East Bridgewater.
